In the early 2000s, within the hallowed halls of New Zealand's capital, he delved into the intricacies of Composition. The ensuing years saw him donning various musical mantles, touring extensively, and eventually anchoring himself in the sprawling metropolis of Los Angeles for a five-year sojourn. There, he collaborated with luminaries such as Danni Harrison, Lisa Loeb, Ariel Pink, HOLY SHIT, Twin Shadow, The Night Game , Kirin J. Callinan, and Molly Lewis, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and innovative musician.
LUCOLA's sound is a rich tapestry of '70s - '80S inspired electronic music, where influences from Jean Michel Jarre, Wally Badarou, Tangerine Dream, and Laurie Anderson are woven into unique compositions.
